14.7  Rectification of Construction Proposals

If it should be found that the Construction Proposals do not fulfil the Authority's Requirements, the Contractor shall at its own expense amend the Construction Proposals and rectify the Works or any part of the Works affected.  Such amendment and rectification shall have the effect that:

(a)  the Construction Proposals shall satisfy the Authority's Requirements; and

(b)  following the amendment or rectification the structural, mechanical and electrical performance of the [Facility/Facilities] will be of an equivalent standard of performance to that set out in the Construction Proposals prior to their amendment or rectification (for the purpose of comparison disregarding the fault which required the amendment or rectification to be made).
