2  Guidance:  The duration of any Transition Period and the nature of any Transition Services are likely to be project specific issues.  Some projects may only require a very short transition period, possibly a matter of days from contract signature to service commencement, whilst other projects may require a few months to allow for premises to be fitted out, equipment purchased etc.  Bidders should be asked to submit transition proposals as part of their Bid.
