27.6.  Service Provider Ceases to be an Admission Body

If the Service Provider or any sub-contractor employs any Eligible Employees from a Relevant Transfer Date and:

27.6.1.  the Service Provider or any relevant sub-contractor does not wish to offer those Eligible Employees membership of the LGPS; or

27.6.2.  the Authority, the Service Provider or any relevant sub-contractor are all of the opinion that it is not possible to operate the provisions of clauses 27.1 (Service Provider to Become an Admission Body) to 27.5 (Right of Set Off) inclusive; or

27.6.3.  if for any reason after the Relevant Transfer Date the Service Provider or any relevant sub-contractor ceases to be an Admission Body other than on the date of termination or expiry of this Agreement or because it ceases to employ any Eligible Employees,

then the provisions of clauses 27.1 (Service Provider to Become an Admission Body) to 27.5 (Right of Set Off) inclusive shall not apply (without prejudice to any rights of the Authority under those clauses) and the provisions of clause 27.7 (Service Provider Scheme) shall apply.
