47.1. Requirement to Maintain
47.1.1. Without prejudice to its liability to indemnify the Authority under clause 46 (Indemnities and Liability) the Service Provider shall take out and maintain in force or procure the taking out and maintenance of the Required Insurances and any other insurances as may be required by law. The insurances shall be effective in each case no later than the date on which the relevant risk commences.
47.1.2. The Required Insurances referred to in clause 47.1.1 shall amount to
a) at least [ ] million pounds (£ ) in respect of Public Liability cover in respect of any one occurrence maintained on a claims occurring basis;
b) at least [ ] million pounds (£ ) in respect of Employer's Liability cover in respect of any one occurrence maintained on a claims occurring basis;
c) at least [ ] million pounds (£ ) in respect of Professional Indemnity cover in respect of any one occurrence and in annual aggregate
d) [list any other required insurances]
47.1.3. The Authority may review the minimum indemnity limits specified for the Required Insurances in clause 47.1.2 on an [annual] basis or at any time that Further Services have received Stage 2 Approval pursuant to the Further Services Approval Procedure and are included within the Services. Any Change that is required to the minimum indemnity limits as a result of the Authority's review shall be implemented in accordance with the Change Protocol.
