5.2  Worksheet: Model Instructions, Main Assumptions & Cell Formats (Assump)

This worksheet provides the user with top level guidance as to how to operate the Model, principal assumptions used in populating the Model and the rationale behind the different cell formats used in the Model. The layout of the worksheet has been organised under the following headings:

5.2.1  Instructions for populating & using the Main Model - Comprises an abbreviated version of this user guidance that explains at a very high level how to operate the Model (excluding the Supplementary VfM Calculations). It is intended that the instructions on this sheet be used in conjunction with this document.

5.2.2  Instructions for populating & using the Supplementary VfM Calculations section of the Model - This is an abbreviated version of the user guidance that accompanies the HMT spreadsheet for assessing VfM. It is intended that the instructions on this sheet be used in conjunction with the Quantitative Assessment User Guide, published by HMT in March 2007.

5.2.3  Unit conventions - The main assumptions regarding unit conventions are stated here.

5.2.4  Legend - This section provides the user with an explanation of what the different formats used in the Model mean.

5.2.5  Glossary - There is a glossary of key terms and acronyms used in the Model.
