PERSON SPECIFICATION

1.  Degree or equivalent with ideally 5 years public sector experience.

2.  In-depth knowledge of public sector management practices, including financial regulations, standing orders and procurement processes.

3.  A proven track record of successful liaison, negotiation and communication with the private sector about critical decisions and actions.

4.  Excellent communicator, motivator and coordinator.  Demonstrable leadership qualities.

5.  Experience of disseminating information, pursuing defined action plans and initiating procedures and providing progress reports in order to meet defined objectives.
