INSURANCE ADVISORS WILL NEED TO BE APPOINTED FOR THE HOUSING PRIVATE FINANCE INITIATIVE PROJECT.

The appointment of Insurance Advisors should follow the process outlined above for other advisors. Insurance Advisors have a smaller role on PFI and would be appointed for the main procurement phase to:

•  Review insurance schedule drafting in the ISDS and PA

•  Evaluate bidder insurance proposals and costs

•  Benchmark and negotiate appropriate insurances delivering VFM

•  Assess insurance risk
