4.1.1  PFI Units

The Authority requires the following mix of unit types to meet established need18:

The Authority does not seek to be prescriptive over how designs achieve these outcomes.  Attention is drawn to paragraph 3.3.1.

The Contractor will be expected to subsequently manage and maintain these in accordance with this Output Specification.

18 This table should be developed to include as much information as is available and appropriate.  At present and based on the schemes developed to date, this Output Specification is based on a model of apartments clustered around some central communal accommodation.  To the extent that the proposed scheme includes other types of accommodation (e.g. bungalows) then the Authority will need to review these sections to ensure appropriate provisions are made to capture the requirements for this alternative accommodation form.
