4.1.18  Care Staff Office

Office accommodation is required for use by the Care Provider and their manager.

The size shall be sufficient to accommodate desking to support a maximum staffing ratio at any one time of 1 member of care staff to [ ] Apartments; however desk sharing by [ ] staff (hot desking) will be acceptable24. The manager appointed by the Care Provider will require a separate workstation.

Storage for residents records shall be calculated with reference to the population size at each site. Security shall accord with the residents rights of privacy.

A space shall be included for small scale team meetings or meetings with other care professionals.
