4.1.23  Refuse/ Clinical Waste Storage and Recycling Centre

A convenient system of storage for residents' refuse and its collection and disposal is to be provided.  Similarly, systems for the management of waste in communal and management areas are to be provided, with particular attention paid to kitchenette facilities, together with the catering services.

The Contractor is to establish a system for the storage of clinical waste and its disposal.

A recycling centre is to be provided for the convenient use by residents and the management staff; this is to be co-ordinated with the recycling procedures of the local waste collection authority.
