5.3  Security Considerations

The following components installed as part of the construction and subsequent maintenance activity shall comply with the requirements of the Loss Prevention Authority and have Secured by Design accreditation:

a)  External doors and door sets to each Zone - this is deemed to include doors to individual apartments accessed from communal areas, as well as the door between the external and internal environments.

b)  External windows.

c)  Principle external entrance doors these should have [audio or audio/visual] access systems controllable from both reception and within each individual apartment.
