8.3.4  Furniture, Fittings and Equipment

Furniture, Fittings and Equipment are deemed to include all of the items which appear within the Schedule of Components within the Zone Data Sheets (including that to external spaces).

The Contractor shall develop and implement:

a)  a replacement programme for all Furniture, Fittings and Equipment;

b)  inspection procedures to prevent defective Furniture, Fittings and Equipment from remaining in use; and

c)  a servicing regime for all specialist Furniture, Fittings and Equipment.

These shall be made immediately available for inspection at reasonable request.

The Contractor will be expected to actively manage the planned and preventative maintenance regime for Furniture, Fittings and Equipment, undertaking frequent reviews to assess performance once in use, to ensure the optimum approach is achieved.
