8.3.7 Adaptations
The Contractor is to undertake adaptations to individual apartments appropriate to the occupant's needs, as defined by the healthcare or social services provider. The costs of such adaptations shall be met by the Contractor (which may be recovered through grants or other funding sources available) save for where the Authority exercises it's rights to directly nominate an occupant who has specific needs that require highly specialist adaptations, in which event the cost of adaptations will be treated as a pass-through cost.41
The Contractor is to remove adaptations that are inappropriate to the occupants of apartments (brought about by either a change in needs or the re-let of an apartment). Where adaptations removed are re-useable, the Contractor shall catalogue these and store them for re-use at the next opportunity.
