8.4.7  Laundry

The Contractor is to manage the laundry.  It shall be used by the Contractors employees in connection only with the services to be provided under this agreement.  In addition it shall be used by the Authorities' employees in the provision of their services to the residents.  It shall also be available for use by the residents either aided or unaided.

The laundry shall provide facilities for bed linen, towels and staff uniforms appropriate for the delivery of the services, with the provision for incontinent residents.

The Contractor is to ensure that dry cleaning facilities are available to residents.  These may be located within or outside the units.  The costs of dry cleaning shall be met by the tenants.
