8.7.1  Required Outcomes

The Authority requires the Contractor to provide the key front of house function.  This will provide the linkages between all of the critical groups at each site namely:

a)  Care Provider and catering management and staff;

b)  The building operations (i.e. the Contractor);

c)  The residents;

d)  Visitors; and

e)  Other care/amenity providers attending site.

The Authority requires a professional yet approachable image to be displayed, which is in keeping with the front of house service being the first point of contact for any of the above groups.

The front of house service can be broken down into a number of operational functions:

f)  Reception/concierge services;

g)  Building security;

h)  Events management; and

i)  Porterage.
