3.7  Sustainability Objectives17

The Authority requirements are set out in section 3.7.2 for new homes [and 3.7.3 for other buildings respectively].

Whilst this Output Specification does sets a minimum standard for energy generation (see 4.6.5 j)), it does not set specific requirements on a number of issues including combined heat and power, recycling facilities, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS), etc. Proposals must acknowledge and respond to the requirements of the planning authority18.
