7  AVAILABILITY STANDARDS

This section contains a summary commentary on the principles and interpretation of the Availability Standards.  The detailed Availability Standards are contained within Annex II to this Output Specification.  Where conflict arises between this Section 7 commentary and Annex II, it is the latter that takes precedence.

The Availability Standards are split into [3] areas:

•  Housing Availability Standards - as applied to all Dwellings whether refurbished or newly constructed.  Where appropriate, these same standards apply to leasehold as well as tenanted Dwellings.

31 Availability standards will need to be developed for all of the different facilities within the project, ensuring the Authority can incentivise the Contractor to deliver and maintain every aspect of the scheme.
