7.2.16 External Areas to Dwellings
a) Boundaries to Dwellings must be clearly defined in durable materials. An appropriate level of security and privacy must be provided to rear gardens of Dwellings where provided.
b) Within curtilage parking must be maintained in a satisfactory condition with appropriate and adequate access provided.
c) Footpaths should be maintained so as to be free from trip hazards and other obstacles.
d) Externally painted surfaces should be maintained in good condition (see Annex X) and offer appropriate protection for the materials covered.
e) Bin stores and other external structures shall be appropriate for their purpose and maintained in a safe condition.
