8.3.6  Portable Appliance Testing

The Contractor is to develop and subsequently implement and maintain a programme that ensures portable electrical items are tested in accordance with the applicable regulations.

For the avoidance of doubt, this is deemed to include:

a)  All electrical items within individual Dwellings for which the Contractor is responsible;

b)  All electrical items located within common parts to residential areas, communal areas and office areas; and

c)  Any external equipment.

Records of Portable Appliance Testing will be made immediately available at reasonable request.
