Canvassing

Any Bidder who, in connection with this Project:

•  Offers any inducement, fee or reward to any member or officer of the Local Authority or any person acting as an advisor for the Local Authority in connection with the Project; or

•  Does anything which would constitute a breach of the Prevention of Corruption Acts 1889 to 1916 or under Section 117 of the Local Government Act 1972; or

•  Canvasses any of the persons referred to in Paragraph • in connection with the Project; or

•  Contacts any officer of the Local Authority prior to the Contract being awarded about any aspect of the Project in a manner not permitted by this ISDS (including without limitation a contact for the purposes of discussing the possible transfer to the employment of the Bidder of such officer for the purpose of the Project),

will be disqualified (without prejudice to any other civil remedies available to the Local Authority and without prejudice to any criminal liability which such conduct by a Bidder may attract).
