Freedom of Information

The Local Authority is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. As part of our duties under the Freedom of Information Act, we may disclose information, forming part of your tender or contract, to anyone who makes a request. We may also publish some of the information you give to us in our publication scheme required under the Freedom of Information Act.

If you consider that any of the information submitted to us by you is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act then this should be stated in writing at the time the information is supplied to us together with the reason for considering it exempt. We will then consult with you in considering any request received under the Freedom of Information Act before disclosing such information.
