Environmental Services Strategy

Bidders should provide a general statement describing how the engineering services concept for the design supports the architectural design concept. This response should describe the environmental impact on the health and well-being of the users, and should fully clarify the Bidder's proposals for the following topics as a minimum:

•  natural ventilation,

•  air quality;

•  natural daylight,

•  heating and cooling, including solar gain, glare and shading;

•  interface with façade design;

•  acoustic insulation (from both airborne and impact sound)

•  acoustic design of engineering systems;

•  control strategies for heating and lighting, etc; and

•  short-term flexibility and longer-term adaptability.
