2.2  Organisational Overview

Only needed if the project/programme will change the fundamental structure of the organisation or approval is sought from outside the organisation.

•  A brief summary of the organisation particularly its purpose, structure and organisation.

•  Is the project likely to involve a fundamental management restructuring?

•  Are services to be brought together or split up in the context of how they are delivered? (e.g. through a contact centre);

•  Are there linkages to any accommodation rationalisation strategy?

•  If a structure such as a joint venture or wholly owned company is to be set up what are the drivers of this and how will it affect the retained services?

•  What is driving the proposal?

•  Are there any related/interdependent projects?
