7  Key Objectives of the Payment Mechanism

The objectives of the Performance Levels and Deductions are to:

(a)  ensure that the Services are of a consistently high quality and meet the requirements of the Authority;

(b)  provide a mechanism whereby the Authority can attain meaningful recognition of inconvenience and/or loss resulting from any Service Failure and/or Unavailability Event; and

(c)  provide incentives to the Service Provider to meet the Performance Levels and to remedy any Service Failure and/or Unavailability Event so as to regain the Performance Levels expeditiously.
