Example Method Statement 13 - Transition Plan (Contractual)

The Service Provider is to ensure the efficient and effective takeover of the services on the commencement date, and the transfer of records and documents associated with the services.  The Model Contract includes provision for a transition period of [insert details] and during this period the Service Provider shall undertake as far as shall be reasonably practicable everything necessary to institute and complete a hand-over between itself and the Local Authority and any previous contractors.  As part of the Bid, the Bidder is required to submit a draft transition plan to demonstrate how such hand-over will be affected, and the key tasks to be undertaken during the mobilisation period.
