B.1  Context

The contract term is divided into four phases (see Figure 2):

1.  The Transition Phase which runs from the Effective Date to the Service Commencement Date and during which the Contractor provides Transition Services.

2.  The Legacy Service Phase which runs from the Service Commencement Date to the Authority To Proceed (ATP) and during which the Contractor provides Legacy Services.

3.  The Transformation Phase which will run in parallel with some or all of the Legacy Phase and which will conclude with the ATP.

4.  The Transformed Service Phase which runs from the ATP to the end of the Contract Term and during which the Contractor provides Transformed Services.
