53.  INSURANCE

53.1  The Contractor shall take out and maintain employer's liability, public liability, professional indemnity and any such other insurances, for the sum and range of cover, as set out in Schedule NN with a reputable and creditworthy insurance company.

53.2  The Contractor shall, for as long as it is required to maintain the insurances under this Agreement, ensure that all policies for the insurances contain an indemnity to principals clause.

53.3  Such insurances shall be maintained for the duration of this Agreement and for a minimum of 6 (six) years following the expiration or earlier termination of this Contract.

53.4  The Authority may from time to time submit a request in writing to the Contractor,  demanding evidence of the existence of all required insurances, in the form of a broker's letter and/or copies of the policy documents, and the Contractor shall provide all such evidence within five (5) Working Days of such written request.
