54.  TERM

54.1  This Agreement will begin on the Effective Date and, unless terminated at an earlier date by operation of Law or in accordance with Clause 55, will terminate at:

54.1.1  the end of the Initial Term; or

54.1.2  if the Authority elects to extend the Initial Term, at the end of the Extension Period.

54.2  [The Authority may elect to extend this Agreement for [insert details of number and length of extension periods] by providing the Contractor with notice in writing at least [insert details of amount of notice given re extension.]

54.3  The Charges for any Extension Period shall be as set out in Schedule E.4 (Charges and Invoicing).
