The Participants acknowledge and agree that the Project Owner's VFM Statement is one of the key drivers for the carrying out of the Project and the performance of the Works. Consistent with that, the Participants commit to establishing an alliance culture based on the Alliance Charter and to act at all times in a manner that is consistent with a Best For Project approach.
Guidance Note - To satisfy the commitment set out in this clause 4.3, each approach, decision, solution or resolution that is taken or made by the Participants under the Agreement must be developed collaboratively and agreed by the Participants on the basis that it is consistent with the Project Owner's VFM Statement and the Alliance Charter. To achieve this, the Participants must establish a peer relationship where each Participant has an equal say in decisions for the Project, all communications between the Participants must be open, straight and honest so as to enable informed decision making and each of the Participants must have a clear understanding of the objectives of the Project. |
