It is acknowledged that the purpose of the insurances referred to in clauses 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 of Schedule 9 is to reduce the overall cost relating to insurance associated with the Project. The NOPs are free to maintain any other insurances they consider necessary in respect of the Project and the Works. The costs of those additional insurances (with the exception of the insurances referred to in clause 18.3) will not be treated as a Reimbursable Cost reimbursable by the Project Owner under this Agreement.
