1.6  Is a Source Selection Plan Required?

Source selection plans are not required for PPT source selections.  However, when the SSA is other than the contracting officer a source selection plan is the recommended way to document the SSA's establishment of the source selection team and approval of the evaluation factors.  MAJCOM and other community advice guidance on the preparation of source selection plans are available in the AFFARS Library – Part 15 (Source Selection).
