VIII.  REDACTED SAMPLES OF SSDDS

Samples of SSDDs for various types of source selections are attached.  These samples illustrate how to address important elements in the decision document, but they DO NOT contain boilerplate wording that everyone should use.  Since every acquisition is different, every SSDD should be different.  The SSDD must reflect your SSA's thought process and his/her preferences on the level of detail.  AFAC 2004-0721 and AFAC 2008-0128 revised source selection terminology, added additional features and those changes are NOT reflected in the attached samples.  These SSDDs were all written prior to AFAC 2004-0721 and AFAC 2008-0128, another reason to not copy their language.
