(g) REQUESTING NEEDED FUNDING IN THE BUDGET PROCESS
(1) Once you have decided how much funding you need for each of the components of the multi-year contract, you can put them together in the form of Exhibit MYP-1 through MYP-4, which will support your budget request. Then you should provide for those funding levels in your budget submissions. You should follow the guidance in DoD 7000.14-R, Volume 2B, Chapter 4.
(2) During each budget cycle Air Staff provides instructions for submitting budget requests (e.g., "POM-Call Instructions"), which include instructions for indicating the funds you will need to execute a recommended multi-year procurement. Follow these instructions, and be sure that the numbers in the budget documentation are consistent with the numbers in your multi-year exhibits.
