217.7800 Scope of subpart.

This subpart -

(a)  Implements policy under direction of a memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition Technology and Logistics, Proper Use of Non-DOD Contracts, dated 29 October 2004 and 20 July 2005, and in accordance with DFARS Subpart 217.78.

(b)  Prescribes policy and procedures whenever a non-DOD contract is to be used to satisfy a DISA requirement for supplies and/or services above the SAT.
