49.109-7 Settlement by determination.

(a)  A settlement by determination shall be accomplished only if the cognizant HCO approves a D&F that so recommends. The D&F shall be coordinated with a DITCO Cost Analyst and legal counsel if the amount of the settlement is above the simplified acquisition threshold.
