17.171 Multiyear contracts for services.

(a)(v)(3) For DLA Energy (formerly DESC), the responsibility for making the determination required by DFARS 217.171(a)(3) is delegated to the DLA Energy (formerly DESC) HCA. The DESC HCA may further delegate this authority, without power of redelegations.

The responsibility for making the determination required by DFARS 217.171(a)(3) is delegated to the Commander, DLA Disposition Services (formerly DRMS), with power of redelegation to the Director, Directorate of Contracting (DLA Disposition Services (formerly DRMS)-P), for contractual actions not exceeding $10 million in total procurement value and for which the cancellation ceiling does not exceed $500,000. The delegation is unlimited for multiyear determinations when a cancellation ceiling of $0 is included.
