7.17.1 The Contractor's Construction Sub-Contractor and its Services Sub-Contractor will expect to be involved in developing the design and equipment requirements which are required to be met in order to satisfy the Service requirements which the Contractor is obliged to perform under the Contract. Where the Authority retains responsibility for services which may be impacted by construction design and standards some appropriate level of involvement from the Authority will need to be provided in the design development process. This potentially may require an increased scope of work for the Authority's technical adviser during the design development process as it will need to consider what the Authority requires to operate and maintain the facility at the desired Authority standard.
