The government shall help maintain reasonable prices and availability of supply of basic and prime commodities. To achieve this, the government will intensify and expand programs that will address affordability of basic necessities and prime commodities. To address consumer concerns, a sustained mechanism for speedy resolutions of complaints will be implemented in collaboration with the private sector. The government shall work at the development of a national comprehensive competition policy, pursue the legislative agenda on competition law, product liability and other consumer related laws.
