An array of reforms in the domestic financial system will be pursued to further deepen the financial system through a balanced development of the banking system and capital market. These shall be anchored on a conducive policy and regulatory environment, progressive adoption of international standards and best practices,18 good governance, and transparency for the effective delivery of financial services.
