The Bid Security and the total estimated project cost (in words and figures) shall be contained in a separate sealed envelope with marking "BID SECURITY OF (NAME OF PROJECT PROPONENT)". The envelope for Bid Security and the total estimated project cost must be contained in the envelope for Technical Proposal and must be submitted on or before the deadline for the submission of bids. Failure to post the bid security is a ground for automatic rejection of the bid.
