The state governments of Victoria and New South Wales have been instrumental in the development and uptake of the PPP procurement model in Australia. This section outlines specific features of policy frameworks for these jurisdictions that build upon variants of PPP that are outlined in the section above and to provide background for the partnership, risk and performance management theory presented in Chapter 4.
