The Deputy Chair of the Design and Social Context College Human Ethics Advisory Network (CHEAN), Prof Joseph Siracusa, assessed your ethics application titled:
How can better partnership, risk and performance management practices from a public sector perspective be utilized to improve the operational performance of PPP, leading to better value for money outcomes?
I am pleased to advise that your application has been approved at a Low Risk classification. This approval will be ratified at the meeting on 16 June 2011 and reported to the University Human Research Ethics Committee for noting.
Your ethics approval expires on 31 December 2014.
Please note that all research data should be stored on University Network systems. These systems provide high levels of manageable security and data integrity, can provide secure remote access, are backed on a regular basis and can provide Disaster Recover processes should a large scale incident occur. The use of portable devices such as CDs and memory sticks is valid for archiving, data transport where necessary and some works in progress. The authoritative copy of all current data should reside on appropriate network systems; and the Principal Investigator is responsible for the retention and storage of the original data pertaining to the project for a minimum period of five years.
You are reminded that an Annual /Final report is mandatory and should be forwarded to the College Ethics Subcommittee Secretary by mid-January 2012.
