1.2.2.3 Extension of time for performance -

The Contracting Authority usually expressly grants the Private Partner an extension of time in respect of delays to the commencement of operations that are attributable to Force Majeure events during the construction phase. This will include postponing the date on which the construction of the PPP Project should have been completed by the Private Partner (the mechanic for doing this may be set out in another clause dealing more generally with extensions of time).
