IT'S ONLY THE START OF A CONVERSATION The following primer points out that best practices at the intersection of gender equality and infrastructure PPPs are still evolving. Tracking gender equality aims within infrastructure PPP projects has not been a prevalent practice. Undoubtedly, more ideas and innovations need to be tested to push the envelope and redefine best practices in infrastructure PPPs. We see this primer as a first step and hope that it sparks inspiration for PPP project teams aiming to ensure their projects promote gender equality, underlines that this is an important priority, and takes a dialogue forward with a range of stakeholders.
