How were the standards developed?

The Standards incorporate best practice from across government and relevant insight from the private sector.

Taking a cross-government approach, the Standards were developed with input from commercial and non-commercial colleagues across departments as well as professional bodies, CIPS and IACCM. Anumber of pre-existing sources also fed into the development of the Standards. These are shown on the right.
