5.29 The JCT and CCSJC should co-ordinate their work. A Joint Liaison Committee should be formed to consider amendments to the NEC and to build up a complete family of documents around it. The NEC is capable of being a common contract for the whole industry. The JCT and the CCSJC should eventually merge into a National Construction Contracts Council.
