"We have proposed that the actions needed to implement the Latham Report recommendations should be undertaken by a joint industry Government body which we propose should be called "Construction Sourcing".
"Construction Sourcing" should become recognised by large and small clients, including both new and regular customers of the industries, as a centre for reliable independent advice on how to contract for construction, including building, and civil, electrical, mechanical and process engineering. To meet this role, it must be seen to be led by experienced and knowledgeable clients, but it will need the support of all the professions and industries. We propose the following mission statement, objectives and tasks.
