Alongside the expansion of digital health, there should be additional government investment in improving digital health literacy.26
This will include training the health care workforce to use this technology to its full potential and educating and empowering people to manage their own health and wellbeing.27
As part of this initiative, vulnerable people who lack the income, ability or digital literacy to access these services must be prioritised.28
